When did you last see a hedgehog?
Hedgehogs used to be common around Fairmilehead Ward and breed here each year but I haven't seen one since May 2006.
Possible causes;
Heavier fast traffic?
Slug pellets and the use of other garden chemicals?
Loss of habitat?
Climate change?
Slugs and snails are certainly feasting in my garden.
